Audioguides and PA Systems (Public Address)

La Sagrada Família, the Liceu Opera House, the Picasso Museum, Casa Gaudí, or the Museum of Setúbal are some of the iconic spaces that have trusted my voice to guide their visitors. As a professional voice artist, my career ranges from the sophistication of cultural guides to strategic public address systems for major brands such as Caprabo, Saba, Veritas, Carrefour, or MediaMarkt.

My work as a native bilingual voice-over artist guarantees high-fidelity delivery, providing crystal-clear diction and institutional warmth in every message. Whether for monumental landmarks or commercial retail spaces in Spanish and Catalan, I ensure a flawless sound that enhances the user experience and reinforces the identity of the space.

Voice for PA Systems

A Public Address (PA) system announcement is a type of voice recording used in public spaces, events, or sound systems to broadcast messages for various purposes: to promote or advertise a product (commercial voice for advertising campaigns), provide directions (PA for theaters, public services, etc.), create alerts, or introduce and even perform in an event. Consequently, the types of voices used for PA systems are highly diverse:

  1. Elegant and Deep Voice: A serious, serene, and declarative narration. It is commonly used for galas, award ceremonies, and all kinds of institutional or high-profile events—situations where the message requires a solemn impact. This calls for both a skilled voice actor and a pleasant, harmonious timbre.
  2. Authoritative or Firm Voice: This type of narration uses the voice to convey and announce control or urgency messages authoritatively. It typically features a strong, clear, and decisive tone, often used for emergency alerts, security announcements, and instructions in sensitive areas.
  3. Informative Voice: A clear and precise voice used in contexts where the message must be understood quickly and without confusion, such as schedule announcements, locations, or simple instructions. It focuses on clarity, perfect diction, and a neutral tone.
  4. Energetic or Enthusiastic Voice: Used in advertising campaigns or promotions in large spaces like supermarkets, department stores, and shopping centers. It is characterized by a cheerful, vibrant, and dynamic tone designed to capture attention and motivate the audience.
  5. Calm and Serene Voice: Used in situations requiring tranquility, such as hospitals, airports, or train stations, where announcements are needed without causing panic or stress. The voice has a soft, relaxed, and moderate tone.
  6. Lastly, the most versatile is the Interpretive Voice: This is often required when the PA system acts as a "character" or host interacting with the audience or an on-stage performer. While it involves acting, it must always consider the specific acoustic conditions of the environment where it will be broadcast.
